2018 Monterrey Mexico
I visited Mexico this year and had the opportunity to visit my Mexican family for the first time in my life. It was a trip focused on finding my Mexican roots and heritage in a time where American ideology alongside the Trump administration has created conflict with immigrants traveling from below the Texas border a trip my parents did as young teens hoping to find a better home for themselves and one day myself. The city my mother grew up in was Monterrey, Mexico the city of mountains. The colors represent the tone of where I was when visiting this place my mother use to call home, "Mexico Homecoming."
